Windscreen Surround Replacement / Engine Intake Lip Skin's
During your aircrafts lifespan, it may be required to change your windscreen and windscreen surround, as well as the engine intake lip skin's. Both the windscreen surround and engine intake lip skin's are supplied by the manufacturers in a grey clad colour, that is dull and rough to the touch. DJD provide a specialist service to polish your new windscreen surround and engine intake lip skin's to a mirror-like shine so that they match all the other bright work on your aircraft.
DJD will always aim to restore and repair damage to your leather and alcantara upholstery on site. If we deem that the damage is too extensive for onsite repair, we would require the removal of the upholstery or chair, and an assessment would be made with our specialist leather manufacturers off site. Once we have completed our inspection we will supply you with a quotation for the work to be carried out. DJD will at all times provide you with an honest and professional recommendation for all repairs and removals based on the extent of the damage or markings.
From time to time you may notice marks on your interior; this can range from denim markings on your leather chairs or maybe pen on the leather or alcantara. DJD staff are trained in repairing and removing these marks although there can be few factors that inhibit the complete removal of inks, including how long the mark has been there, the depth of the ink and the type. We have found with experience we can either remove the marks totally or at least make them less visible to the naked eye. DJD will at all times provide you with an honest and professional recommendation for all repairs and removals based on the extent of the damage or markings.
